With deepest and profound sympathy, we announce the transition of Mr. John H. Simmons who entered into rest December 17, 2024.

Mr. Simmons, a native of Aiken County, was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Simmons; two daughters, Sherietta (Keith) Holland and Samaria Brown; one son, John H. Simmons, III; one sister, Mattie Cannon; one brother, Johnny (Patricia T.) Simmons; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two Godchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Cornelius Jenkins officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Friday at the funeral home.
