It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. John A. Ways who entered into rest January 8, 2023.

Mr. Ways was a native of Aiken County.

Survivors include his parents, Elizabeth Braxton and Johnny Ways; sisters, Desiree Nicole Walker of Charlotte, NC, Lareka Jackson, Courtney Ways both of Aiken, SC, Taylor Ways, and Aleyah Ways both of Columbia, SC; maternal grandparents, Spencer and Earth Braxton; his fiance', Diamond Baylor; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Four Mile Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Christopher Holley officiating. Interment will follow at Hope Memorial Park (Barnwell.) Viewing will be held from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
