It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Joseph F. Blocker who entered into rest June 29, 2022 at Charlie Norwood VAMC, DD.

Mr. Blocker, husband of the late Evelyn Hall Blocker and son of the late Joseph and Ethel Collins Blocker, was a native of Edgefield County and a member of Mt. Canaan Baptist Church. He was a retired auto mechanic for Manhattan Diagnostic Center, Manhattan, New York. He was a United States Army Veteran.

Survivors include a daughter, Debra L. Blocker Cody; sister-in-law, Earnestine Hall Johnson; brother-in-law, Jeremiah Hall; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Private Service will be held at a later date.
