With deepest and profound sympathy, we announce the transition of Mr. Joseph E. Thomas who entered into rest January 2, 2025.

Mr. Thomas was a 1977 graduate of Langley-Bath-Clearwater High School.

Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Turner Thomas; sons, Christopher (Latoya)Turner and Fredrick Turner; sister, Cathy Collins; brothers, Richard (Lillie) Thomas and Julius (Florence) Twiggs; his mother, Lucille Thomas; father and mother-in-law, Otto and Genevieve Brown, Sr.; uncles, Milo (Lisa) Brown and Harry Newman; aunts, Ida Mae Wright, Essie Turner, Sandra Turner, Lula Mae Willimas, and Robertha Slaughter;  sisters-in-law, Sharon (Ricky) Anderson, Lisa (Timothy) Strozier, Ann Washington, Kimberly Turner, Monica Dobey, Karen Madison and Angela Cummings; brothers-in-law, Bryant Turner, Delvin (Sharon) Brown, Windell (Latosha) Brown, Fred (Susan) Harris, and Dion Rocker; 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends that includes faithful Fabian "Dog Leg" Wright, Dion Jones, Terri "Lil Bo" Wright, Harry Artist, Joe Williams, David Washington, & Victor Bailey.

Memorial Services will be held at 12 pm Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Word of Life Assembly Church  with the Rev. Willie Harmon officiating.
