It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Joseph Wright who entered into rest June 28, 2025.

Mr. Wright, a native of Aiken County was a member of Bean Pond Baptist Church. He was a Machine Operator for Rock Tenn Box Company.

Survivors include his wife, Essie M. Gaines Wright; two sons, Joseph Wright, Jr., (Crystal Secoy) and Eric Donell Wright (Barbara Suttles); a brother, James Wright, Jr.; a sister, Annie Mae Williamson; nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm Saturday, July 5, 2025 at Runs Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Stevie Berry officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held Thursday, July 3, 2025 from 2:00 pm until 5:30 pm at the funeral home.
