Obituary

G. L. Brightharp & Sons announces the transition of Mrs. Judy Nabritt Colbert who entered into rest November 28, 2025

Mrs. Colbert was a 1966 graduate of Jefferson High School and retired as an Operating Room Technician from University Hospital. She was a member of Hammond Grove Word Power Ministry.

Survivors include her husband, Anthony "Tony" Colbert; a son, Malcolm Jamal (Denise) Nabritt; two sisters, Alice McKie and Pauline Nabritt; a grandson, Tyler Jamal Nabritt; mother-in-law, Betty Jones; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, December 8, 2025 at Hammond Grove Word Power Ministry with the Rev. Bobby G. Hankerson officiating. Interment will follow in Walker Memorial Park. Viewing will be held from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
