It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Ms. Julia E. Peevy who entered into rest June 25, 2023.

Ms. Peevy was a native of Barnwell County and attended Jefferson High School. She was a member of the Red Hat Organization, Four Mile Missionary Baptist Church and Shiloh Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sisters, Flora Jean Washington, Carolyn O. Williams and Sandra O. Stallings; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, June 30, 2023 at Four Mile Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Christopher Holley officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
