It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Ms. Katherine LaVerne Curry Ferguson who entered into rest June 17, 2024.

Ms. Ferguson was a graduate of North Augusta High School and a member of Second Providence Baptist Church. She was a retired United States Army Veteran.

Survivors include a son, Eric Ferguson (Tiffany Mack); a brother, Wayne Stewart Curry; two sisters, Valerie V. Curry and Tina Denise (Loman) Boykins; six grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, June 28, 2024 at Second Providence Baptist Church with the Rev., Dr. Albert M. James officiating.

Professional Services are under the care of G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary-North Augusta.
