It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Kenif Lavar Williams who entered into rest April 1, 2025.

Kenif a native of McCormick County, attended the McCormick County Public School System. He was employed by Augusta Disposal Services. At an early age, he joined Bethany Baptist Church.

Survivors include his mother, Annette Freeman Williams (Larry"Pop" Gilyard, Sr.); brothers, Larry Gilyard, Jr., and Dontae Thurmond; sisters, Erika Burton, Jasmine Marshall, Ebony Tate and Kendra Murray; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Bethany Baptist Church where the Rev. Russell Brisco pastor and Rev. Winston Oliphant eulogist. Viewing will be held from 2:00 until 5:30 pm Friday at the funeral home.
