With deepest and profound sympathy, we announce the transition of Mr. Kennedy Holloway who entered into rest July 5, 2025.

Mr. Holloway, a native of Edgefield County, was a member of Springfield Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include his daughter, Kimberly (Darius) Walker of Graniteville, SC; a chosen son, Willie Joe (Donya) Prescott of Edgefield, SC; brothers, Jerry (Min. Annette) Holloway of Johnston, SC, Curtis (Geraldine) Holloway of North Augusta, SC, Harvey Holloway, Sr. of Trenton, SC, Larry (Pam) Holloway of Edgefield, SC, Douglas (Deanna) Holloway of Hephzibah, GA, Anthony (Meriam) Holloway of Aiken, SC, Glasgow (Tamara) Griffin, Jr. of Maricopa, AZ, Eric Griffin of Edgefield, SC and Rev., Dr. Leonard O. (Wandalyn) Griffin of North Augusta, SC; sisters, Shenequa L. (Wallace, Sr.) Mealing and Tonya (Antonio Pickens) Holloway both of Edgefield, SC, Mary (Carter) Williams of Forestville, MD, Jacqueline Griffin of North Augusta, SC, Kathy Griffin of Waldorf, MD and Tawana Griffin of Middleburg, FL; eight grandchildren, Kayla Prescott, Tyron (TJ) Chapman, Jr., Tyia Chapman, Tyliah Chapman, Darius (Jr) Walker, Jr., Kamari Walker, Antonio (AJ) Young, Jr. and Lyric Walker; ; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Springfield Missionary Baptist Church where the Rev. C. Moses Myers is the pastor and the Rev., Dr. Leonard O. Griffin eulogist. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Friday at the funeral home.
