Kevin Anthony Brown

With deepest and profound sympathy, G. L. Brightharp & Sons announces the transition of Mr. Kevin A. Brown who entered into rest July 4, 2026.

Mr. Brown is a native of St. Mary, Jamaica and resided in Trenton, SC.

Survivors include his two sons, Ja’Mikell Thompson and Deontrez Harris both of Aiken, SC; his loving parents, Arlene Coy of Silver Spring, MD and Llewellyn Brown of New York; four grandchildren, Marquis Anthony Brooks III, Kaylee’ Harris, Mazi White and Amir Harris all of Aiken, SC; his maternal grandmother, Berdie Wildman of St. Mary, Jamaica; his maternal siblings, brother, Kurt Coy of Montego Bay, Jamaica; sisters, Asia Coy and Nordia Coy both of Silver Spring, MD; two paternal brothers; a paternal sister; nephews, Dyametrius Lampkins of District Height, MD and Jamal Page of Silver Spring, MD; four nieces, Zion Coy of Montego Bay, Jamaica, Dai’Lani Proctor-Coy, Daija Coy and Delviana Coy all of Silver Spring, MD; two uncles, Michael Green of St. Mary, Jamaica and Andrew Green of Handover, Jamaica; three aunts, Maureen Redman, AnnMarie Green both of Clinton, MD and Barbara Hilton of Silver Spring, MD; a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, August 7, 2026 at Republican Grove Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
