It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Kevin Deon Walker who entered into rest February 22, 2024.

Survivors include a son, Jalen Jamison; three daughters, Tavae Pearson, Gabrielle Walker and Angel Walker; chosen parents, Marie Elmore and Carla Taylor; a brother, Fred (Yulanda) Walker; sister, Kawanna Walker; one nephew, Tyrael Walker; two nieces, ShaQuanna Walker and NyKeisa Reese; two great nephews, TyRael Walker, Jr. and Jayden Walker.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Second Providence Baptist Church of which the Rev. Dr. Albert M. James pastor and the Rev. Joshua Bryant eulogist. Interment will follow in Second Providence Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be held from 2 pm to 5:30 pm Friday at the funeral home.
