It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Miss Kimberly Latonya Baskett who entered into rest September 4, 2022 at Piedmont Hospital Augusta.

Miss Baskett was a native of Edgefield County and a graduate of North Augusta High School. She was a member of Mealing Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her mother Polly A. Baskett Walker, two brothers, Roosevelt (Nakia) Walker and Tyrone (Sheena) Walker; grandfather, Roosevelt Walker, Sr.; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 pm Sunday, September 11, 2022 in Mealing Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Joseph Harris officiating. Viewing will be held from 2-5 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
