It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. King David McKie who entered into rest September 6, 2022 at Piedmont Hospital Augusta.

Mr. McKie, a native of Edgefield County, was a member of Old Macedonia Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Estella Shedrick McKie; two sons, Kenneth D. McKie and David Bryant McKie; one daughter, Loretta E. (Leonard) Traynum; two sisters, Betty (John) Knight and Lillie (Wayne) Settles; four grandchildren, four great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 1 pm Saturday, September 10, 2022 in Old Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Limuer Myers eulogist and the Rev. Dr. Leonard O. Griffin pastor. Viewing will be held from 2-5:30 pm Friday at the funeral home.
