G. L. Brightharp & Sons announces the transition of Kyera Nadine Spivey who entered into rest October 22, 2025.

Kyera was a 2016 graduate of North Augusta High School. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, NC and a Master's Degree in Nursing from Augusta University, Augusta, GA. She was a Registered Nurse at Wellstar MCG.

Survivors include a son, Kayden Doir Jenkins; her parents, Leshawnda (Victor) Curry and Anthony (Angela) Spivey; a brother, Dorian Hazel; sisters, K'Lynn Spivey, Sierra Jacobs and Alexis Jacobs; grandparents, Nadine Hawkins, Frankie (Gail) Coleman, Eddie (Estelle) Brooks, Jeanette Middleton and Mary Mealing Palmer; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, November 1, 2025 at New Beginning Ministries where Bishop Hezekiah Pressley pastor and Pastor Dejuan Middleton eulogist. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, North Augusta. Viewing will be held from 2:00 pm until 5:30 pm Friday at the funeral home.
