It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Laddie Smith, Jr. who entered into rest August 12, 2024.

Mr. Smith was a native of Raleigh, NC.

Survivors include four sons, William (Gene) Scott, Phillip (Denise) Smith, Thomas (Audrey) Smith and Stuart Smith; three daughters, Sylvia Lidgard, Doreen (Joseph) Woolridge and Katherine Christensen; one brother, Alfreddie (Brenda) Smith; two sisters, Esther Hawkins and Patricia Young; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Old Storm Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. Martris Mims officiating.
