Obituary

It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Lamar Williams who entered into rest on March 26, 2023.


Mr. Williams was a native of Spartanburg County. He graduated of Jefferson High School and Aiken Technical College with an Associates Degree in Masonry with honors in 1977. He was a member of Hammond Grove Baptist Church where he served as a trustee. He was a United States Army Veteran.


Survivors include a daughter, Hope LaGrace Williams-Bryant (Carlos); three sons, Taiwan D. Williams, TaMarius D. Williams and Anthony L. Williams; a brother, Billy Williams; and a host of other relatives and friends.


Funeral services will be held at 11 am Saturday, April 1, 2023 at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Sheldon Cooper officiating. Interment will follow in Hammond Grove Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2-5:30 pm Friday at the funeral home.
