It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Larry W. McCain who entered into rest December 12, 2022 at Doctors Hospital.

Mr. McCain was a 1976 graduate of Strom Thurmond High School. He was a member of Carey Hill Baptist Church where he served on the Trustee Ministry, Male Chorus Ministry and the Ushers Ministry.

Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Turner McCain; a son, Larry W. McCain, Jr.; two daughters, Teresa (Damon) Broadwater and Samantha (Adrian) Garnier; a sister, Lisa (Byron) Walker; five grandchildren, Darshon Broadwater, Darius Broadwater, Zion Garnier, Trinity Garnier and Legend Hagan; two nephews, Byron (Tiffany) Walker and Johnathan Walker; mother-in-law, Joyce White; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Carey Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Brandon L. Dotson officiating. Mask and social distancing will be observed. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2-6 pm Friday at the funeral home.
