It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Larry Griffin Simpkins who entered into rest February 23, 2022.

Mr. Simpkins was a native of Charleston County.

Survivors include a brother, Johnnie (Darleen Ray) Griffin, Jr. of Alpine, CA; two grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 5, 2022 at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. G. L. Brightharp officiating. The service will be live-streamed via the G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Facebook Page. Interment will follow at Aiken Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Friday at the funeral home.
