It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Ms. Latoya T. Miles who entered into rest February 10, 2022 at AU Medical Center.

Ms. Miles, a native of Edgefield County, was 1995 graduate of Strom Thurmond High School and a member of Republican Grove Baptist Church. She also attended Piedmont Technical College.

Survivors include a daughter, Brianna Oliphant of the home; her mother, Geraldine Miles of Edgefield, SC; her father, Bernell Miles of Johnston, SC; a sister, LaKeisha Miles; maternal grandmother, Bertha Mae Johnson Edgefield, SC; a special niece, MaKailey James all of Edgefield, SC; a special nephew, Ryan Johnson of Atlanta, GA; a special friend, Rondell Surry of Edgefield, SC; uncles, Leroy Johnson, John Miles, Oscar (Pearl) Brooks all of Edgefield, SC, Carl (Jennie) Miles, Elliot Chandler, and Sammy Young all of Johnston, SC; aunts, Jackie Patton of Newport News, Virginia, Beryl (Calvin) Henderson, Corine (Charlie) Upson both of Edgefield, SC, and Mary Chase of Jamaica, NY; a devoted great aunt, Margie Gibson of Edgefield, SC; special aunts, Joanne Davis of Washington, D.C. and Ingrid Rampersad of Jamaica, NY; special sisters, Kim Logan of Aiken, SC, Michelle Tukes, Janice Baker both of Augusta, GA, and Cassandra McCullough of Edgefield, SC; and a host of devoted cousins and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, Februay 17, 2022 at Republican Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Willie Patten, Jr. officiating. Viewing will be held from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
