Lawanda Nicole Johnson

With deepest and profound sympathy, G. L. Brightharp & Sons announces the transition of Ms. Lawanda N. Johnson who entered into rest August 22, 2026.

Ms. Johnson was a native of Richmond County.

Survivors include her parents, Sandra Allison and Michael Johnson; three sisters, Latangela (Elry) Wright, Charmaine (Joseph) Lloyd and China Thomas; three brothers, Michael (Sharlan) Johnson, Dwayne (Jasmine) Johnson and Tremaine (Deshanta) Johnson; a host of other relatives and friends. 

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, August 29, 2026 at New Beginning Ministries. Interment will follow in the Mealing Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. The will be NO PUBLIC VIEWING.
