It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Lawrence "Larry" Callair who entered into rest January 8, 2023.

Mr. Callair was a retired educator and coach from the Richmond County School District. He was a member of the Elks, R.A. Dent #1725, Masonic Greensboro, Prince Hall F & M #223, Thankful Grove Baptist Church and Canaan of Galilee Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Sadie M. Sutton Callair; a daughter, Kimberly M. Callair; two sons, Lawrence M. Callair and Kevin E. Callair; three sisters, Cardell Benjamin, Susan G. Callair and Margaret Adams; three brothers, Willie (Chris) Tutt, Walker Marshall (Gloria) Tutt and Vernon (Mary) Tutt; four grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Thankful Grove Baptist Church, 2026 Lexington-Carlton Road, Carlton, GA 30627. The remains will lie in state in the church from 11am-1 pm. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Friday at Canaan of Galilee Baptist Church, 5830 Clarks Hill Road, Appling, GA.
