It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mrs. Leila R. Lloyd who entered into rest June 11, 2024.

Mrs. Lloyd, a native of Edgefield County, was a member of Jeter Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Rev., Dr. Jasper Lloyd, Sr. of the home; one son, Rev. Jasper (Lydia)Lloyd, Jr. of Columbia, SC; one daughter, Rev. Glenda Burch of Columbia, SC; three brothers, Rainsford B. McManus, Jr. of North Augusta, SC, Ronald (Dale) McManus and Lynn McManus both of Edgefield, SC; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at Mt. Alpha Baptist Church where the Rev. Eldwin Griffin is the pastor and the Rev. James Thomas eulogist. Interment will follow in Jeter Baptist Church Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Monday at the funeral home.
