It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Leonard Harrison who entered into rest July 9, 2023.

Mr. Harrison, a native of Aiken County, was member of Friendship Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Girtdell Harrison of the home; two sons, Donald Harrison and Leonardo (LaTishia) Harrison both of Aiken, SC; a niece raised a daughter, Brenda (Wilson) Glover Johnson; two sisters, Ida Mae Bryant of Jackson, SC and Mary Ella (Sammie) Roundtree of Philadelphia, PA; three brothers, Booker T. Harrison, Ernest S. Harrison both of Aiken, SC and Steve (Sheilah) Harrison of Graniteville, SC; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, July 14, 2023 at Friendship Baptist Church with the Rev. T. C. Edwards officiating. The service will be live-streamed via the G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Facebook Page. Interment will follow in Ashley Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
