It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Leroy Diggs who entered into rest July 5, 2022 at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, Queens, NY.

Mr. Diggs was a native of Edgefield County. He worked in the Edgefield County School System
(W. E. Parker) until he retired. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, Edgefield.

Survivors include a son, John Vernon Diggs; a daughter, Regina Diggs; grandchildren, Katrina, Octavia and Tylo; great-grandchildren, Beautiful, Isaiah, Kayden and Miracle; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 11 am Sunday, July 17, 2022 in Science Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Edward Lloyd officiating. Mask and social distancing will be required. Viewing will be held from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
