It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Lester D. Johnson who entered into rest February 2, 2022.

Mr. Johnson was a graduate of Leavelle McCampbell High School, Piedmont Technical College and Aiken Technical College. He was a member of St. Phillip Baptist Church. He was a sitter at University Hospital

Survivors include his wife, Charlyn Denham Johnson; his mother, Louise Starling Johnson; step children, Alexandra Denham, Nikria Denham, Cherrice Pugh, Charties Denham and Stepfon Denham; three sisters, Patrice Doris Johnson, Scherrie L. Liely and Javonia E. (Russell) Dunbar; father-in-law, Charles Denham; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 12 pm Saturday, February 12, 2022 at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary. Mask and social distancing will be observed.
