It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Levern Lawton who entered into rest January 31, 2024.

Mr. Lawton was a native of Aiken County.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Lawton; two daughters, Alison D. Johnson (Burundi Means) and Dionne M. McBride (Ronnie); three sons, Levern (Michelle) Lawton, Jr., Kenneth L. Lawton and Robert Edwards, III; one sister, Angela Lawton; one brother, James (Catherine) Lawton; 15 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, February 10, 2024 at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Chapel. Viewing will be held from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
