It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Ms. Levetter W. Bates who entered into rest December 20, 2022.

Ms. Bates, a native of Aiken County, was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Dominique Bates; three daughters, Bridget Bates, Brittney Bates and Laquashia Bates (Darius Willingham); five brothers, Isaiah Williams, Melton Williams, Jr., Joseph Williams, Richard Williams and Darryl Williams; two sisters, Annie Mae Jones and Catherine Williams; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Friday, December 30, 2022 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Jackson of which the Rev. Raford Roundtree pastor and Rev. Henry Ingram, Sr., eulogist. Viewing will be held from 2-5:30 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
