G. L. Brightharp & Sons announces the transition of Mrs. Lila Mae Edwards Evans who entered into rest October 30, 2025.

Mrs. Evans, a native of Aiken County, was a graduate of Aiken High School and Aiken Technical College. She was employed by Aiken Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Runs Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Leon Evans; three sons, Roberto B. (Alicia) Starlings, Marcus B. (Nadeen) Starlings and Erik B. Starlings.; five grandchildren, Shroyah Starlings, Jayla Starlings, Angel Starlings, Uzayah Gray and Miles Johnson; a great grandchild, Kay Starlings;  a host of other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, November 15, 2025 at G.L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Chapel.
