It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mrs. Linda "Gail" Cain-Bright who entered into rest October 21, 2022.

Mrs. Bright, a native of Aiken County, was an educator with the Aiken County School District. She taught at North Aiken Elementary School. She was a 1978 graduate of Leavelle McCampbell High School. She earned her Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education from USC-Aiken and her Masters Degree from the University of Arizona. She was member of Old Macedonia Baptist Church where she sang in the Gospel Choir.

Survivors include her husband, Miker L. Bright; one daughter, Latrice T. Bright (George McFadden); two sons, Zachary J. Bright and Brandon M. Bright; her mother, Charlotte Myers Cain; one sister, Sharon L. Cain; three brothers, Rev. Robert (Ruby) Myers, Donell (Barbara) Cain, and Jeffery (Ray) Cain; one grandchild, Kaiden S. Bright; one sister-in-law, Bertha Cain; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at Old Macedonia Baptist Church with the Rev., Dr. Leonard O. Griffin officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. There will be NO PUBLIC VIEWING.
