Obituary

It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Lindsey Orlando Ryan who entered into rest on April 1, 2023.


Mr. Ryan was a native of Aiken County and a 1997 graduate of Sumter High School. He was a member of Shaws Creek Baptist Church. He was a United States Army Veteran.


Survivors include a daughter, Tatiana R. Ryan; son, King S. Ryan; chosen son, Vakarion K. Nichols; parents, Sammie D. and Rosa Lee Ryan; sister, Natasha L. Ryan, two brothers, Mandrell A. (LaToysha) Ryan and Bernard L. Ryan; a devoted friend, Patrice C. Hannah; and a host of other relatives and friends.


Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Monday, April 10, 2023 at Shaws Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Martin Ryans officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 1-4 pm Saturday, April 8,2023 at the funeral home.
