It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce that transition of Mrs. Lorraine Greene Brightharp who entered into rest February 8, 2023.

Mrs. Brightharp was a native of Oconee County. She was a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Survivors include her husband, Timothy L. Brightharp of the home; one daughter, Toria (Kevin) Hughes of Savannah, GA; one sister, Jeanette Greene of Seneca, SC; one grandchild, Kamryn Hughes of Savannah, GA; her father-in-law, Rev. G. L. Brightharp; a brother-in-law, Lenward Brightharp; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at Second Providence Baptist Church with the Rev., Dr. Albert James officiating. Interment will follow at Pineview Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM Monday at the funeral home. The family will receive visitors from 5:00 until 7:00 PM.
