It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mrs. Lucille F. Lewis who entered into rest February 28, 2023.

Mrs. Lewis was a native of New Haven, Connecticut. She retired from the United States Postal Service.

Survivors include three daughters, Julia Gilmore-Patterson of Camden, SC, Lucinda (Kelvin) Gilmore-Diamond of Brooklyn, NY and Linda Gilmore-Barnes of Boston, MA; one son, Edward L. (Terri) Butts, III of Lugoff, SC; two sisters, Maria Lindsey of North Carolina and April Conyer of Bridgeport, CT; four brothers, Barry Lindsey of New Zealand, Charles "Scooter" (Carmen) Conyer of New Haven, CT, Donald (Michelle) Conyer of Loganville, GA and William Lindsey of Germany; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church (Lugoff, SC) with the Rev. Marion O. Bennett officiating. The service will be live-streamed via the G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Facebook Page.
