It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mrs. Lugenia Broadwater Williams who entered into rest December 27, 2021 at AU Medical Center.

Mrs. Williams was a native of Edgefield County and a member of Old Piney Grove Baptist Church where she served on the usher's ministry.

Survivors include two sons, Rickey (Kendra D. Evans) Collier and Darrell L. Williams; four daughters, Cora (Rev. Reginald) Butler, Sheron (Frank) Dunbar, Patricia (Joseph) Hazel and Demetrice Luke; a brother, Bernard Broadwater; 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

A PRIVATE SERVICE WILL BE HELD. Viewing will be held from 2-5:30 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Mask and social distancing will be observed. NO VISITATION AT THE HOME.
