It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mrs. Lula Pearl Collier, 101, who entered into rest June 9, 2022.

Mrs. Collier was a native of Edgefield County and a member of Old Piney Grove Baptist Church.

Left to treasure her memory are: devoted nieces and nephews, Pastor Yolanda Bouyer (Pastor Bennie), Betty J. Moss, Loretta Collier McCain (Frank), Georgine Carty, Alvin McDaniel (Jocelyn), Tilman F. McDaniel, Jr., and Brandon McDaniel; stepchildren, Lester Collier, Jr. (Frances), Leon Collier, Viola Jones and Deloris Butler; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Friday, June 17, 2022 at Old Piney Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Louis T. Coley, Jr., officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mask and social distancing will be required. Viewing will be held from 2-5:30 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
