With deepest and profound sympathy, we announce the transition of Mrs. Lula Ramsey Turner who entered into rest August 7, 2025.

Mrs. Turner, a native of Edgefield County, was a 1946 graduate of Edgefield County High School. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, Edgefield where she sang on the choir.

Survivors include her husband, Albert Turner, Jr.; six daughters, Valerie (Leon) McDuffie-Jones, Ophelia Turner-Shand, Cheryl Mobley, Wanda Turner, LaVerne Turner and Tameika Turner; two sons, Albert (Giselle) Turner, III and Dwayne Edward (Robbin) Turner; two sisters, Cora Ann Herrin and Frances Payne Ramsey; sixteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, August 15, 2025 at Bethlehem Baptist Church where Rev. Dr. Craig S. Beasley pastor and the Rev. Edward Lloyd eulogist. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
