With deepest and profound sympathy, we announce the transition of Mr. Major Thomas Price who entered into rest August 21, 2025.

Mr. Price was a graduate of Jefferson High School and work in the Construction Industry as a Carpenter.  At an early age, he joined Old Hammond Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Tonya Price and Shondra Price Lewis; six sons, Derek (Debbie) Price, Thomas (Yvette) Price, Anthony Price, Darryl (Denise) Price, Larry Nathaniel and Tiaze Surry; stepchildren, Mark (Olivia) Shedrick, Deborah Shedrick, Michelle Shedrick, Charles Graham, James (Cheryl) Surry, Peggy Surry and Mary Surry; a brother, Lloyd Price; twenty-six grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Sunday, August 31, 2025 at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Chapel. Viewing will be held from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
