With heartfelt sympathy, G. L. Brightharp & Sons announces the transition of Ms. Marilyn L. Mims who entered into rest March 19, 2026.

Ms. Mims was a resident of North Augusta, SC.

Survivors include her son, Marcuis (Acaica) Mims; one sister, Mary (Milledge) Callaham; four brothers, Argentina Mims, Henry James (Machelle) Mims, John Allen (Kimberly) Mims and Herbert Mims; grandchildren, Marcus Jr., Josh, BreAsia, Aiden and Zamarah Mims; a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, March 27, 2026 at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Darrell Blocker officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Friday prior to the service.
