With deepest and profound sympathy, we announce the transition of Marquise R. McBride who entered into rest December 7, 2024.

Marquise received his education in the Aiken County School System. He was a member of Free Indeed Holiness Church.

Survivors include his father, Fernando McBride, a brother, Fernando McBride, Jr.; a sister, Shandra T. McBride; his grandmother, Evelyn Mathis; a special niece, Sha'miya Fleger; aunts, Jacqueline Smith, Gaynell Bryant, Sheila McFadden, Uzella (Clint) Jackson, Betty Mims, Teresa (William) Bush and Jeanette (Terry) Barnwell; one uncle, Willie (Tammy) Mathis; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, December 14, 2024 at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Jacqueline Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Bettis Academy Memorial Park. Viewing will beheld from 2:00 pm until 5:30 pm Friday at the funeral home.
