It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Ms. Mary N. McCain who entered into rest February 25, 2023 at Piedmont Augusta Hospital.

Ms. McCain was a native of Aiken County and a member of Young Macedonia Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Melvin Nathaniel and Larry Nathaniel; six daughters, Beverly McCain, Janice (Joe) Miller, Pamela McCain, Deborah (Jerarl) Boyd, Monica (Rodney) White and LaShanda McCain; a devoted friend, John Diggs; 11 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Friday, March 3, 2023 at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. G. L. Brightharp officiating. Interment will be in Young Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2-5:30 pm Thursday at the funeral home.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 1, 2023 from 4-8 pm at the residence of her daughter, Deborah Boyd, 4114 Social Circle, Augusta, GA.
