It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Ms. Mary L. Hampton who entered into eternal rest Wednesday, February 3, 2021.

Ms. Hampton, a native of Aiken County was a 1964 graduate of Jefferson High School. She was a member of North Augusta Baptist Church where she served on the D.T.H. Sanctuary Choir. She employed by the Graniteville Company for many years.

Survivors include a son, Chauncey Hampton; two daughters, Tonya (Wallace, Jr.) Grubbs and Erica (Bishop Vashion) Staley all of North Augusta, SC; two brothers, John L. Houston, Missouri City, TX and Willie James (Kathy) Roberson, Saylorsburg, PA; three sisters, Janie M. Jones, Barbara A. Roberson, North Augusta, SC and Julia R. Cook, Columbia, SC; four grandchildren , four great grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Walker Memorial Park, Augusta with the Rev. Danny Cobb officiating. Mask and social distancing will be observed. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
