With heavy hearts, G. L. Brightharp & Sons announces the transition of Ms. Mary L. Turner who entered into rest February 20, 2026.

Ms. Turner, a native of Edgefield County, was a member of Union Baptist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Virginia Key; one son, Douglas (Elaine) Key; two sisters, Roberta McCain and Rosetta Villingslea; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 PM Saturday, February 28, 2026 at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Nathaniel Langford officiating. Interment will follow in Carey Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Friday at the funeral home.
