It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Ms. Matlen Foreman Greenwood who entered into rest October 26, 2023.

Ms. Greenwood was a native of Aiken County and a member of Hazel Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She attended the Aiken and Richmond County School Systems. She was employed by Menardi Filters for many years.

Survivors include a goddaughter, Joyce Reddick; devoted nieces and nephew, Carrie McAlpin, Linda Brody and David Benjamin Foreman; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, November 3, 2023 at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Henry Ingram, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in Park Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
