It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Ms. Mattella Davis Butler, who entered into rest March 13, 2025.

Ms. Butler, a native of Aiken County was employed by Owens Corning Fiberglass Corporation for many years.

Survivors include a son, Matthew (Angela) Butler; two daughters, Linda D. Davis and Marion Butler; a nephew, Bishop Kenneth L. Davis; eleven grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12 pm Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Valley Fair Baptist Church where the Rev. Troy Nipper pastor and the Rev. Ronald Thurmond eulogist.. Viewing will be held from 2:00 pm until 5:30 pm Friday at the funeral home.
