Mattie J. Brown

With deepest and profound sympathy, G. L. Brightharp & Sons announces the transition of Mrs. Mattie J. Brown who entered into rest August 9, 2026.

Mrs. Brown was born in Edgefield County and raised in Aiken County. She was a member of Old Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Brown, Sr.; one daughter, Tammie (Lee) Jefferson; one son, Larry (Valeria Denise) Brown, Jr.; one brother, Willis (Elsie) Johnson, Jr.; three grandchildren; a host of other loving relatives and friends.
