It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mrs. Mattie Vaughn Combs who entered into rest January 10, 2023.

Mrs. Combs was a native of Edgefield County and a member of Laura Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Survivors include two sons, Sterling Combs and Justin (Aarika) Combs; 10 grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Viewing will be held from 1-5:30 pm Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at the funeral home.
