Mattie Mae Schoultz

With deepest and profound sympathy, G. L. Brightharp & Sons announces the transition of Mrs. Mattie Mae Schoultz who entered into rest October 24, 2026.

Mrs. Schoultz a native of Edgefield County, was a member of Young Macedonia Baptist Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Bernice Thurmond, Alice Schoultz and Terrie (Shelton) Green; four sons, Calvin Schoultz, James Schoultz, Alphonso Schoultz and Michael Cummings; one sister, Hester Stone; three brothers, Ernest "Bobby" Quiller, Willie "Flip" (Willene) Quiller and Tommy Bright; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 31, 2026 at Young Macedonia Baptist Church with the Rev. Ernest Butler officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Friday at the funeral home.
