It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Michael Anderson who entered into rest April 7, 2025.

Mr. Anderson, a native of Richmond County, was a graduate of Lucy C. Laney High School.  He was a machine operator at Bridgestone-Firestone-Graniteville. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, Edgefield, SC.

Survivors include his wife, Willie Mae Anderson; daughters, Demetrese Harris and Tamiko (D'Wayne) Caldwell; son, Curtis (April) Harris; sister, Faye (Keith) Addison; a special friend, Charles Mathis; sisters and brothers-in-law, Annette Stringer, Mary Alice McNeal, Yancey (Zelma) Lowman and Barney Lowman; sixteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, April 18, 2025 at Bethlehem Baptist Church where the Rev., Dr. Craig Beasley is the pastor and the Rev. Edward Lloyd officiating. interment will follow in the church cemetery.  Viewing will be held from 2:00 pm until 5;30 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
