Obituary

It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Michael Brown who entered into rest May 14, 2024.


Mr. Brown was a native of Aiken County, he relocated to Philadelphia where he was a Cook for a Philadelphia Retirement Home.


Survivors include three brothers, Kenneth (Charmaine) Brown, Randy (Etta) Brown and Lawrence (Cheryl) Brown, Jr.; two sisters, Carol (Raymond) VanPelt and Henrietta Walker; one uncle, James (Rev. Mary Jane) Ingram; three aunts, Beatrice Jackson, Mary "Tiny" Ingram and Kathy (Don) Henley; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.


Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Sunday, May 19, 2024 at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary with the Rev. Abraham Smith officiating. Interment will be in the Hankerson Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 4 pm to 6 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
