It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Michael L. Love who entered into rest January 7, 2023.

Mr. Love was a 1969 graduate of Jefferson High School and a member of St. Phillip Missionary Baptist Church where he served on the trustee ministry and male chorus ministry.

Survivors include a son, Tony L. Love; two daughters, Michelle L. Love and Felicia R. Love; a brother, Elijah (Martha) Love; three grandchildren, D'Markus and Marquez Jefferson and Michael Harris; a great granddaughter, Yamara Jefferson; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am Saturday, January 14, 2023 at St. Phillip Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Eric Butler officiating. Interment will be in St. Phillip Cemetery. Mask and social distancing will be observed. Viewing will be held from 2-5:30 pm Friday at the funeral home.
